CCMA Prep Terms of Use
Effective date: October 24, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the CCMA Prep app ("the app"), made by Euosoft ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA", https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/), which is the license for the app. If these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict about the license to use the app, the Apple EULA controls.
1. What the app is
CCMA Prep is an independent study app for people preparing for the National Healthcareer Association's Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam. It contains practice questions, mock exams, flashcards, lessons, cheat sheets and a glossary, and works offline. There is no account.
1a. Who the app is for
CCMA Prep is rated 16+ on the App Store and is meant for people 16 and older who are preparing for a professional certification. It is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 18, use the app only with the permission of a parent or guardian; where the law requires it, Apple asks your parent or guardian to approve the download and any purchase, and the app may ask iOS for your age range (it stays on your iPhone, see the Privacy Policy).
2. Study use only, not medical advice
- The app is for exam study. It is not medical advice and does not replace your training program, your employer's policies and protocols, your scope of practice under the law where you work, or the directions of a licensed provider. Do not use it to make decisions about a real patient's care or your own health.
- Laws, clinical guidelines and product instructions change. We check every item against the sources it cites, but we cannot promise that every item is complete, current or free of error. Please report anything you think is wrong with Report a problem.
- Practice questions, flashcards and lessons were created for CCMA Prep. They are not actual exam questions and do not come from NHA.
- No guarantee of passing. Readiness, mock scores and projected dates are estimates based on your answers in the app. 80 is our study target, not NHA's passing standard. We do not guarantee any exam result.
3. Not affiliated with NHA; trademarks
CCMA Prep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). NHA and Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) are trademarks of the National Healthcareer Association and are used only to describe the exam. CPT® is a registered trademark of the American Medical Association. Apple, App Store and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc. Exam facts in the app (format, timing, scoring, rules) are based on NHA's published documents as of the date shown in the app; check NHA's website for the current rules and fees.
4. Free preview, subscriptions and Lifetime access
- Free preview. Without paying you can take the diagnostic and review it, read the sample lessons and the exam guide.
- Subscriptions. A weekly, monthly, 3-month or yearly subscription unlocks the rest of the app for as long as it is active. The app shows the price and the length of each billing period before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown, until you cancel. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Cancelling. You can cancel any time in your iPhone's Settings (your name → Subscriptions) or in the app (Profile → Access → Manage subscription). Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next charge. When you cancel, access continues until the end of the period you already paid for; the unused part of a period is not refunded by us (see §5 for refunds through Apple). Apple applies changes between plans.
- Lifetime. Lifetime access is a one-time payment. It unlocks the app with no end date, for as long as CCMA Prep is offered and runs on your iPhone. It does not renew. It is not a promise to keep adding content or to support every future iOS version. Buying Lifetime does not cancel a subscription; cancel it as described above.
- After a subscription ends your progress stays on your iPhone. Your diagnostic review, the lessons you have read, your scores and the exam guide stay readable; practice, mocks and flashcards need an active plan.
- Content changes. We may correct, add, replace or remove questions and other content, for example when an exam plan or a rule changes. We will not reduce what a plan unlocks while it is active.
- Restoring. Purchases are tied to the Apple ID that paid. Use Restore purchase (paywall or Profile) on any iPhone signed in to that Apple ID. Study progress does not transfer between iPhones except through Apple's backups. Family Sharing is not available for these purchases.
- Device time. Access follows the subscription periods confirmed by the App Store. Changing your iPhone's clock does not extend a subscription.
- License agreement. Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). These Terms add to it and do not replace it.
5. Payments and refunds
All payments, including subscription renewals, are processed by Apple under Apple's terms and charged to your Apple ID. Prices are shown in the app as the App Store provides them, including any taxes Apple applies. We cannot see your payment details and cannot issue refunds ourselves; refund requests go to Apple (in the app: Profile → Access → Request a refund, or https://reportaproblem.apple.com). If Apple refunds a purchase, the access it gave ends. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund rights you have under the law.
6. Our content and your license
The app's questions, explanations, lessons, cheat sheets, glossary, design, code and sound, and the way they are selected and arranged, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law, including copyright where it applies. Under the Apple EULA you may use the app for your own personal study. You may not copy, extract, scrape, publish, sell, or share the app's content or content database, use it to build another product or dataset (including training a machine-learning model), remove notices, or try to bypass the paywall.
7. Your reports and feedback
If you send us a problem report or suggestion, you allow us to use it to improve the app without owing you anything. Please do not include anyone's health information or other sensitive personal information in a report.
8. Availability and changes
We may update the app, including through over-the-air updates that fix content or bugs, and may stop offering it. If we stop offering the app, it keeps working on your iPhone as installed, offline, until it no longer runs on your iOS version; we are not required to provide refunds for this beyond what Apple or the law provides. We may change these Terms; the new version applies from its effective date, and we will mention significant changes in the release notes. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the app.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it is accurate, complete, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any exam result, lost opportunity or decision you make based on the app. Our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. This does not take away protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the place where you live.
